Therapeutic Yoga Classes

Back Works offers small-size yoga classes that are suitable for any level of ability

Body Mind Unwind

End your day with grounding movement, mindful breathwork, and relaxation.

 

This all-levels evening flow class is designed to release tension, restore balance, and promote peace in the body and mind.

Class Times:

Tuesday - 6 pm

Greet The Day

Begin your day with a calming and energizing morning yoga practice.

Stretch, strengthen, and awaken the body, mind, and spirit in this all-levels class designed to leave you feeling grounded, refreshed, and ready for the day ahead. The perfect way to set the tone for your day.

Class Times:

Saturday- 9 am

Stress Release & Rest

This  class offers a 30 minute slow flow Hatha yoga to release the tensions of the day and finish with a 30 minute restorative/Yoga Nidra inspired rest. Adaptions are offered to allow for all levels of yoga participants to find their place. Accessing breath and somatic awareness to invite a connection to the brain and body to release tension and harness the benefits of restorative rest.

Tuesday- 7:15 pm

Slow Flow Hatha

Designed to help reduce chronic tension and pain, and improve mobility, this beginner-friendly, mat-based yoga practice moves at a slow and mindful pace. Guided by the breath, poses flow together gently and rhythmically while inviting you to move with greater awareness and remain in each posture a little longer to deepen relaxation, connection, and ease within the body.​​

Class Times: 

Tuesday- 8:30 pm

1:1 Yoga Therapy

Individual classes may be a great option to learn the basics or build you back up to joining our group classes

Yoga therapy consists of 1-on-1 sessions which allow you to focus on your physical, emotional and mental health. The practice uses movement, mindfulness, meditation, relaxation and breathing exercises to help you relax, relieve stress and manage underlying conditions or symptoms.

A great option for beginners looking to learn yoga, or for those wanting to build strength and confidence after a prolonged break.

Yoga Fees

Classes (60 minutes): 

  • Single Class: $20.00 + HST ($22.60)

  • 8 Class Pass: $120.00 + HST ($135.60)

1:1 Yoga Therapy (60 minutes): 

  • $130.00 + HST ($146.90)

Methods of Payment: 

Email us at reception@backworksphysiotherapy.ca if: 

  • You would like to book weekly recurring classes 

  • A class is indicated as "Full"

  • You need to cancel a class that you are booked for

  • You have questions about our yoga classes

Sign Up for Yoga Classes

We require you to sign up at least 2 hours prior to the start of a class so our instructor knows to expect you

Please note minimum age requirement to join our classes:  14 with a guardian; 16+ without.

Yoga Cancellations

If you are unable to attend your scheduled yoga class, Please call us at least 2 hours before the class begins.

For Saturday classes, we appreciate notice by 4:00pm on Friday.
